| Restrictions: | The following items of clothing should NOT be worn: Shorts, skorts, capri or crop pants, Leggings, jeggings, tights or yoga pants, Pants, jeans, slacks with tears or holes showing skin, Mini skirts, Sleeveless tops (tanks tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps or muscle shirts) unless worn with a sweater or jacket, Low cut or see-through shirts or shirts showing midriff or back area, Items with vulgar or political logos, sayings or pictures, Law enforcement uniforms of any kind. Cell phones must be silenced during orientation and turned off prior to entering a courtroom. Children are not allowed to come to jury duty. Shelby County Government does not provide childcare of any kind while serving jury duty. |
